Pretty Boy Floyd - lyrics penned by Woodie Guthrie in 1939 but the tune originates from a Scottish ballad "Come all yea".
Depending on which legend you care to believe "Pretty Boy" Floyd is alternatively romaticised as a sort of Robbin' Hood driven to crime by the Great Depression or vilified as a notorious bank robber. "Pretty Boy", a nickname he hated, derives from his boyish looks.
